I keep coexisting disease handbook on me at all times and a smaller handbook that is actually quite useful its brownish/purple called clinical anesthesiology by ezekiel.. and i carry a small pocket calculator at all times. Thats my uniform. then i have the wallstreet journal which appears at my apartment every morning.. NYT crosswork puzzle for longer cases.. diet snapple in the top drawer of the anesthesia machine.. and a pack of marlboro lights which i smoke in the lounge between cases.. a box of altoids for t he quick fix for hypoglycemia. I also have wine spectator once in a while.. car and driver monthly.. My motorola cell phone does the job when i have to make a quick trade in during cases and my blackberry has been indispensable lately to keep in touch with this girl i am dating..
