Well, this is covered in the Step 1 thread, but I'll bite:

Micro: Clinical Micro Made Ridiculously Simple
Path: BRS Path
Histo: don't know a good review book
Embryo: same, although High Yield is pretty good
Neuroanatomy: can't go wrong with High Yield and the Human Brain coloring book
Anatomy: either Chung or the Anatomy Coloring Book; Ridiculously Simple is good as well (for Step 1, not for course review)
Pharm: Lippincott
Biochem: Lippincott

Did I leave anything out?

8765309 is really you isn't Kimi. This is just your latest scheme to pad that posting number.

I must admit though, I was wrong. At this rate you WILL catch Adrianshoe. And you didn't even have to rant once

Thanks for the useful recommendations Kimberli.

Well, that would be rather bright of me, wouldn't it?

However, if you read some of my other posts here, you'll see I'm having a DEVIL of a time remembering the names of the Basic Science Books.

So I couldn't possibly be responsible for a thread asking about them (then again maybe that's the method to my madness). Anyway, I don't really care about this topic, but thought I could help (and pad that count in the meantime!

Just a thought - I am a BIG fan of pretty much all of the Lange textbooks. Most of these are written by UCSF faculty, are filled with tables to memorize and although they aren't as photo, drawing heavy as some (and hence look difficult), they really are well written in my experience (I worked as student bookstore manager first two years, so looked at lots of books).

Almost can't go wrong with their series.
