I'm wondering which book is best for each subject to study from in preparation for the nbde, for example i've heard brs physio is good for physio... I thought maybe i could get the best book for each of the main subjects

Anatomy
DA
occlusion
Physio
biochem
Path
Micro

and study that way. Or would it be better to just get something like the NBDE kaplan lecture notes book and study only that? I'd probably supplement with decks and old exams either way. Any advice would be appreciated!

I think the best book for all is the kaplan reveiw book, which i bought from ebay, but its too big, and it need alot of time, beside this book, the dental decks is your choice for reveiw, thanks, i hope this will help you. eventhough i didn't take the test yet.

The best book I bought for a particular subject matter was the book I had for Microbiology:

"Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple"
By Mark Gladwin, M.D. & Bill Trattler, M.D.

It really breaks it down and helps you remember the important micro stuff on Part 1. Micro was one of my best sections on the test.

Kaplan Review is too much sometimes...so I tend to loose focus and miss what I should know.
First Aid is better.
I'm finding the dental board busters little more better and concise and straight to the point.
