I'm starting OT school this summer and I am hoping for some advice on learning kinesiology. Any books or youtube videos to review so that I am better at learning about which muscles control which actions?

Before you buy any books, I would try to contact any current students at your program and see what books they've used, or find out what books are required by your professors.

Anatomy:

I've read through a good chuck of Moore and that's what we use the most. Netter has additional helpful photos. We use Grant's Atlas in anatomy lab for dissection (to look at the photos/diagrams), but I've never opened my copy at home so I can't comment on how helpful it is. Rohen is also great because it shows you cadaver photos. I don't use the coloring book because I learn better by drawing my own photos. I've also never used Gray's Anatomy but my professor references photos in her slides.

Moore: Clinically Oriented Anatomy

Netter: Atlas of Human Anatomy

Netter's Anatomy Coloring Book

Grant's Atlas of Anatomy

Gray's Anatomy for Students

Rohen: A Photographic Atlas

Intro to Kinesiology. This is my first kinesiology class so I have no idea if there are better books out there, but they are easy enough to read.

Levangie and Norkin: Joint Structure and Function

Neumann: Kinesiology of the Musculoskeletal System

Thank you so much! Your list is super helpful!!
