Do you guys know what are the best books to use to start studying for R1? Likewise are there any good books for an ipad? Apps?

Do search. There are lots of posts on this topic.

1. Do not study radiology before July, except maybe to read through Felson's chest book if you haven't done that before.

2. Brant & Helms is a good introduction for many topics.

3. Mettler for nucs, Donnelly for peds, Helms for MSK.

If you ask around your program in July you may just find what you're looking for...

Neuro: requisites

Ultrasound: requisites

GI: mayo book

Nucs: mettler

Peds: Donnelly.

The rest are pretty variable
