can anybody recommend me with the best DAT preparation book..
my brother is a pre-dent..and he's preparing for DAT..
thought i would get him some books..

Get him the Top-Score CD Rom.......that was more helpful than most of the books I used to study.

Kaplan DAT book from your local bookstore. It comes with a CD, but the CD is worthless. Just memorize the book front to back.

get him to read Dental Economics. it's a free magazine and
it's great. it really gives you a good perspective on the dental
profession, with many interesting articles.

i picked up copies of the last two months' issues at my local
dental school. then i tried signing up for a free subscription
on their website, but haven't received anything in two
months... maybe you have to be a practicing dentist to
get approved or something.

you can also get a free on-line subscription, but the paper is much better.

IBO-man, do you anything about twiking the 6 month use limit on the top score CD rom. please anyone with info on this share them.

I don't but I don't think you'll need six months to practice with the Top-Score CD ROM. Depending on how often you use the CD, generally you should be able to know all the questions and answers in 3-4 months tops. Good Luck.

I will only condone this technique if you bought the TopScore and are using the CD for your own personal use. 😉 Simply set the date on your computer back a few months or years. The CD should work fine if they haven't already found a way to defeat this.
