Hey, I am from the DC/MD/VA area and I want to get braces but unfortunately, I don't have dental insurance. I was wondering if anyone knew by any chance of any good plans that would lower the cost of the treatment.

Thank you for any tips/comments.

I have never owned my own business, never accepted insurance and therefore am probably not the best person to answer your question. But, as no one else is answering your question, I'll give you my thoughts. From what I understand, most dental insurances don't cover braces because it's an elective procedure. That being said, some do. But even then, it is generally only given to the dependents of the insured under a certain age. I imagine you are an adult and not under anyone's plan. To say that no plan exists for you is probably ignorant, but I believe it is sensible to say that probably no plan exists for you.
