I'm trying to relearn ECG's for my medicine clerkship. It's been a long time and I'm looking for a resource that's both basic in it's approach but comprehensive in terms of what I'll need to apply for the clerkship and the shelf.

Lots of people like the orange book by dubin. Everyone knows about this book so at the very least its probably good to say you've read it so you know what people are talking about if nothing else. I thought it was alright. Teaches rhythms decently but lacks in 12-leads. I like 12-lead the art of interpretation. It is set up as a series of ecgs with 3 paragraphs of explanation on each. One is beginner findings, another intermediate, and another advanced. I like this set up because it is useful for different levels. You can read through it multiple times as you gain new knowledge and it remains informative.

thought Dubin wasn't very good, honestly. Garcia's book, and "The Only EKG Book You Will Ever Need" were great.

Thought Dubin was garbage, but second the notion that 'The Only EKG Book You Will Ever Need' is terrific.
