best internship programs?

Hello all,

I still got about a year and a half until I graduate, but I like to have a rough idea as to where I will be going in the future. I am going to try for the Canadian Match in the upcoming year, but from what I hear it is very difficult and lots of students need some sort of plan if they don't match. So with that being said, I was looking at internship programs that I can do for a year between graduating and until applying again the year later.

I was wondering if anyone had any good programs that they know of? My university does offer one through the local hospital but I just want to see what else is out there. Or perhaps someone knows of a website or document that I can look at that has all these internship programs?

I don't really care where they are because I'd rather have more to choose from than less. Hopefully someone here is able to help me out.

Are you asking about Canadian or US internships?

To be honest, it doesn't matter. From what I know the US doesn't have internship programme's anymore? And Canada has never had internship programs.

I was ideally hoping for any internship programs around the world (ideally places that will improve my CV/application).
