For my research job:

PI: Most of the interviewees are planning to stay one year and I am looking for someone to work for 2 years...

Me: I'll do 2 years.

Results: Hired.

Why would anyone want to read about other peoples' interviews that went well? There is no entertainment in watching a train travel safely across the countryside. Everyone wants to see it crash.
