I feel like my general chemistry course hasn't prepared me nearly enough for the MCAT. I got an A in both semesters of inorganic, but my course must have been watered down or something (its very large state school).

What are the best books to not simply touch on the material but go very in depth to self teach it.

I already sold all my inorganic chemistry textbooks, so was hoping something like the Princeton review set, or Berkeley review would be in depth and thorough enough.

I also would recommend Berkeley Review. I used theirs and followed a study plan online since I don't live in California. Felt it prepared me for what I saw on physical sciences and organic on the test. If looking for Bio too I like exam krackers, as Berkeley seemed like too much information to digest for bio. But all of the practice passages in all sections were good practice!
