I was wondering if people had any good resources for residency like books you really like as references or websites you find

The APMA's Young Physician Transition page has several tools for the PGY1. They have info on coding, debt management, CV help, etc., so check it out.
We should keep our clinical/surgical skills up to date so you can still use text like Watkins. If I find something specific, I will post it here.

Once you know your match program, reach out to the 2nd year there and ask for advice.

Plenty of articles and they're free. It's a good place for a quick refresh on a topic or introduction to a topic you don't know much about.
