Just wondering which are the best review series books to use in general for second year and for step 1 prep? If there isn't just one great set, can someone give a good overview of their relative strengths and weaknesses. For example, I know BRS is outline format so good for facts, but not for reading, and Made Ridiculously Simple can be more of just a preview of a subject. Sorry if this is something about talked about in another blog. Thanks

I don't think there is one good series - certain books from different ones are good.

Rapid Review - Elsevier is notoriously absent from your list. Goljan's RR path is like a review series unto itself.

Kaplan + BRS path and phys (+FirstAid). many loved goljan, but I didn't use and did great!
