Hey everyone! I'm hoping to take the MCAT end of Spring/Summer and want to start my content review for classes I've taken so far (everything except physics & biochem) right now I have Kaplan 2015 and EK 9th edition as well as TBR 2011 and the Psych/soc book from TPR. Which single resource would you all recommend?

Or is it necessary to combine? I'm not sure how sufficient EK would be (from what I've heard here) since I think I need more than just need a superficial review.

Any help is appreciated, thanks🙂

I would only use TBR for practice passages and then use either Kaplan or EK for content review depending on your learning style. If you prefer a thorough and moderately detailed content review, go with Kaplan. If you prefer short and sweet with decent strategy, go with EK.

Hey. I'm using TBR for both content review and practice passages. I think TBR prepared me really well now that I'm at the point of taking practice exams. Most of all, TBR teaches you how to not freak out when you look at impossible passage or a crazy graph. Good luck!

Thanks for posting this. This is something I think 90% of people getting ready for the MCAT fail to adequately prepare for. You have to train for the 'anxiety factor'. It can only be done by practicing on weird passages that after you complete and review, you discover weren't that bad after all. You have to build confidence on the weird stuff!
