Most of the info I've found on SMPs is for people who want to go to med school...which SMPs are most likely to help you get into dental school? Barry seems to be the common answer around here but I wanted to know about other programs as well, especially ones that take the GRE.

I would recommend to enroll Rutgers's MBS program. They have dental scholar path that they allow you to take dental courses with current dental student and also you can do 1yr, 1.5 yrs, 2yrs depend on ur situation. Good luck

Do you know if they take the GRE for dental scholar applicants, and if so would it put me at a significant disadvantage compared to applicants with the DAT?

Current Rutgers student here. You can apply with a GRE score and it won't put you at a disadvantage compared to others that have taken the DAT as long as you have a decent score. Good luck if you apply!

I know someone that did something at Tulane's SMP and got into dental school. But that's all I know.
