How much you wanna spend? Free standing speakers? In wall? You wanna hang them? How many subs? 7.1 surround or higher? How big is your HT room? Lots of variables.

What can I say... it's a hobby and I love it. Fished the wires/hdmi cables behind the walls myself. Took me about 20hours to get it all rigged up. I use it every single day and I think it's money well spent (which BTW, was a demo piece at CES in Vegas) When you live in the midwest, you better have your outlets.
COD MW 2 has never sounded better, especially when you have infantry with AK's sneaking up behind you. It sounds killer.

It is the equivalent of pent, sux, tube: Good, Reliable, Effective, but inelegant and devoid of character.
Nothing wrong with Bose, but most audio enthusiasts will tell you that better performance can be had for less money.
But one thing Bose does right is compact style and packaging ... there's a lot to be said for that if the wife won't go for big "ugly" speakers in her living room.
