any ideas? I have boards and wards for step 2 and 3, First AID Step 2 CK, and Step Up to Medicine. I have heard from my 4th year peers that those sources along with Kaplan Qbank and USMLEworld are good for USMLE Step II but what about COMLEX II? thank you.

Know your sympathetic and parasympathetic innervations, other than that, this test is totally hit and miss. Full of bizarre questions and photos. If you are prepared for USMLE step 2 and know your innerations, you are set for this test.

but what about COMLEX II? thank you.

you need a clean copy of 'the brown book' It's like the authors of COMKEX read the study prep books you mentioned and use that as a basis of what not to ask.

That being said, i used crush, first aid, kaplan questions and NMS question books,, along with blueprints OB and sava and managed to pass.

Don....bro....where you at...

I took that crap of a test...and all i can tell you is that it is the worst test I have taken in my life....

pictures suck...with questions like 3m boy with rash in picture shown...and what is it...WTF...no hx no labs...nothing...stupid law questions...wtf..and omm questions from hell...like 50% of the omm you can answer from the green book...and the other half...good luck...how do you increase the abx to get to the prostate...wtf..with omm..

Study for the real test...and take this thing in the middle...i guess FA was the most help...

nothing helps prepare for this waste of 6-8 hours. I seriously felt like I was wasting my life during every second of this test. Some questions ridiculously easy and most missing 2-3 vital pieces of information. A lot of assumptions have to be made.

All I can say though is that it was much less painful than the USMLE, however

yeah seriously. i had a Q about a PE and in my mind is running wild with V/Q scan, Heparin, LE U/S........but then I look at the answers choices and they are all related to OMM.

As if I'm going to give you a damn soft tissue technique while your dyspneic and may have a PE. wtf?????????

what's the green book for omm? i don't think that is something my school uses.

its not something many schools use because it basically simplifies (rightfully so) the entire "DO difference" in about 200 pages. most schools like the big 3000 page monstrosities for no reason.

ditto. easily the most poorly written test that I have ever taken in my entire life - even worse than step 1. the bulk of the exam consisted of the typical "what am I thinking of / I want you to read my mind" questions that you get on inpatient medicine or surgery. go figure... definately not representative of what i've learned during my first 3 years of medical school.
