best starting salary anywhere in country

I'm starting my PGY2 year and the shadow of the six digit undergrad and med school loan are looming in addition to being the bread winner for my little family. I am concerned. I ask the forum what is the best starting salary you have seen and in which place in the country for general neurology.

It is not difficult to make 160-210 as a neurologist. What is the upper limit going to tell you? It isn't anesthesiology, but then it isn't pediatrics either.

i wouldnt settle for a STARTING salary under $150k
you should be able to find that just about anywhere. exceptions probably being big city academic centers.
