Best textbook to read before anesthesia ICU rotation?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Marino should be enough. If you want more/different, try Marini's Essentials.

Uggh... Am I the only one who can't stand Marino's 500+ page editorial? It might be a great book for medical students and nurses. Might be. You don't need a textbook.

For ICU you want to know the latest in how to treat sepsis, manage the vent, and how to start and titrate sedation and pressors/inotropes. That will put you leagues ahead of your fellow rotators.
