best time to take COMLEX II?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering whether anyone had any advice as to when is the best time to take COmlex II?

I will NOT be applying to any osteopathic programs. ONly allopathic so I already took step I and did pretty well. If I take step II it will be only after apps and interviews (like dec or Jan.)

But will COMLEX II be important for the allopathic progrms if there is no step II score yet?

In my school, I think all we need to do is pass comlex II before graduation. So how does taking in Dec sound? That way apps, interviews and showcase rotations would have passed and it would be a great primer for step II if I plan on taking in Jan.

Please let me know what you all think and what you guys have done.
I've been slacking since step I was over (last June).........

I recommend taking Step II early. I'm taking PE in a couple of weeks and CE at the end of July. I'm getting it out of the way so I can concentrate on my audition rotations and not have Step II hanging over my head. Good
