So I will be working full time in my gap year. Problem is, I don't have a job yet but I definitely want it to be part of my primary application. I might not get one secured until July and I don't want to submit then, not to mention the fact that it might be later

can I just put "Full time job" and explain my circumstance?

No. I want to be a rock star but haven't landed a major recording contract, so I can't add "rock star" to my CV (yet). If you want to be able to list a full-time job on your application, you need to find a full-time job first.

What do I do then? I feel like this is a big part of my app, especially since I am a reapplicant. I want it on my primary, and not every school accepts updates

as for the rock star thing, the reality is I CAN find A job - even if it's waiting tables or something. I am just looking for something better than that; I have a college degree

Then get your app in shape before you submit it. What you're trying to do is convince schools to give you credit for intending to find a job, but intending to do something doesn't impress anyone. You may need to postpone reapplying for a year in order to have a competitive application.

And I actually do have the talent and training to be a professional musician, but that's a discussion for a different day. The point is that there are thousands of unemployed college grads, and the fact that you're unemployed speaks louder than the fact that you want to work. Find a job, then add it to your application.

No med school is going to give you consideration for intending to find a job. If anything, putting that on your app will actually make you look worse to adcoms.

On the other hand, if someone has a job that they started but it's only been a couple weeks, is that ok to put in the primary?

No, that's lying.

When my son was in the second grade, he used to make all sorts of promises. I told him "words are easy, doing is harder".
