Besides going to individual residency websites and scanning through current residents... is there a solid, up to date database with residencies that have accepted DOs on a year to year basis?

Just a first year here but I'm curious. Doximity seems to be the solid but even that only filters residency programs that are AOA-accredited

FRIEDA will list percentage of DOs I believe. Not sure how updated it is. But no, the best way is looking at their current roster.

One thing I would like to add is that a person can be listed as MD on the resident roster but their bio shows a DO school once you click their name specifically. I have actually seen this frequently.

Frieda or careers in medicine. I like that CIM lists the schools that make up the resident body as well as a lot of the Frieda info.
