Hey guys. I was just wondering which shipping method you'd recommend to ship supplemental app's, transcripts, gre scores, etc. I don't wanna pay $20 for each school I'm sending stuff to, but something that has a confirmation would be great. I bought some manila envelopes to put my transcripts, etc in. Then was planning on putting that inside something else. Thanks for the suggestions. 🙂

get delivery confirmation (it'll give you a tracking number) for anything you send. you know, though, that you won't handle official transcripts or GRE scores, and are unlikely to handle letters of recommendation unless you get them all given to you in a sealed envelope. I "delivery confirm"ed packets I send to my recommendors and the prerequisite substitution form I sent to Cornell, and will do similarly for any supplemental stuff I don't submit online.

Ive got a question, can I hand deliver stuff? I go to UF it would seem pretty stupid for me to mail something to UF can I just bring it to the office of admissions?

I don't see why not.

I agree with the above post, I strongly encourage you to opt for shipping confirmation.

Last year I sent in three supplemental applications by mail, and never received one of my shipping confirmations. Two weeks AFTER the application was due, UPS notified me that it had just been delivered, because it had "gotten lost in a shipping department." 😱

I managed to present this information from UPS to the vet school and they agreed it was not my fault that the application was late, so they still accepted it 🙂
