I just began volunteering at a hospital in the pharmacy dept on the weekends. They have pharmacists that rotate on the weekends. What is the best way to obtain a LOR from a pharmacist who works at the hospital?

I also work for CVS, although I float from store to store to get hours. How am I supposed to get a pharmacist to write me a LOR for pharmcas if I only see him/her once every month?

If you have talked or worked with a pharmacist three times or so you should just ask them. You would be surprised how happily and willingly they are to help you out. The place I work at, I don't see the same pharmacist every time I go (which is twice a month). You could also try to schedule your time around one pharmacist.

Most of the pharmacists will understand where you are coming from and if you have worked with them a few times then they would probably be happy to write one. To help the pharmacist out you could give her a copy of your Personal Statement and maybe a little more background on you academically to help them to get to know you a little more and be able to write a more personal letter.
