I have been on six interviews straight so sending thank you emails/cards had to wait. Its been eight days since my first interview and I have finally found some time to write the letters. Is this going to look poorly on me for not having thanked these programs sooner?

8 days is hardly late. As a matter of fact, I would recommend not sending the letters immediately after you leave as sending it a few days later gives it the appearance that you have thought about your experience.

thanks WS, that was encouraging. I was starting to worry about the (late) timing of mine.
