University: CW Post
Major: Interdisciplinary
Cum GPA: 3.06 (taken from my transcripts, does not include my 3 retakes)
Prereq GPA: 3.55 (self calculated)
GRE: 159 Q, 155 V, 4.0 AW
Volunteer hours: 40hrs TBI Neurology, 100hrs Nursing Home PT, 25hrs Outpatient PT
LOR: 2 from Science professors, 1 from an employer, and 1 from a PT.

I'm in a tough spot right now, My cumulative GPA is really hurting my chances of getting in. I still haven't completed my Essay because I've been studying for the GRE non stop, just took it last friday.

Should I be aiming to complete it as soon as possible or just before the deadline?

Basic rule on this forum: apply ASAP. Apply now if you can and then update your application later. It won't hurt you.

I don't think your cumulative is killing your chances. At least it meets the threshold. Most schools won't even consider your application if it's <3.0. If you don't get in, retake your two lowest classes and try to get a 3.6 or 3.7 pre-req GPA. Good job on your GRE!

Your GRE and pGPA offset the your cGPA you may not get into a top school but some schools will give you a chance

Sorry to hijack the thread but I have a similar question. I am pretty much done with my application, just waiting for my final letters of rec to be submitted. Do I have to wait until my LORs are submitted before I apply or can I apply now and the LORs will be added later? Thanks.
