better to interview early or later??

I was just wondering if it's better to have interview early or later since you have a choice of choosing when to interview??

It will be easier to stand out earlier, but they may forget all about you a couple of months later at the ADCOM meeting.

As long as it is before December 1.😍

i made all mine as early as possible... it seems best to get your foot in the door as soon as possible

I thought about the same thing when I was making my interview dates, I came to the conclusion that it does not matter- go at the time that fits your schedule the best!!

Most schools have multiple ADCOM meetings so I would not stress about that very much!

You may want to schedule a "safer" (or lower ranked on your list) school before a "reach" (or higher ranked on your list) school, though. This is so you have some experience at interviews and don't feel as stressed out during your "reach" interview.

Problem is many reach schools (the Ivys) send out their invites in August, while some "safety" schools send out their invites much later (like now lol) so if one were to schedule all their interviews in November, very likely they'll fail their courses or just go crazy from all the travelling.

I'm pretty much running with that same philosophy. Iowa is my first interview, followed by ASDOH. Then comes Marquette, UPenn, and UoP.
