I am a freshman at Emory. Since I had serious flu during my final exam season, I really screwed up my final exams in both General Biology and Freshman Organic Chemistry.
* At Emory, students who got 4 or 5 in AP Biology still must take 141 and 142 General Biology w/Lab as a pre-requsite for other advanced bio courses.
* At Emory, Students who take this special freshman-only organic chemistry course will not be required to take either general chemistry or the standard organic chemistry course (Chem 221-222).
So I got both B+ (GPA: 3.3) in Bio and Orgo.
I know dental schools don't accept AP credit (I took AP chem) and don't know Freshman orgo. exempts both gen. chem and standard orgo., so I have to take general chemistry again anyway.
Do you think it is better to take the standard organic chemistry again or just take gen. chem in sophomore year? (2 Level of organic chem. is, of course, harder than freshman orgo; however, same materials)
