How does the USMLE compare to these NBME's my school makes me take after each course? I study about 1 day for each of those and end up about 2 standard deviations above the national mean.

My wife won't put up with 3-4 hrs a day of studying total..... definitely not in addition to regular studying.

How did you guys study for radiologic images (CT, MRI) and EM's? Do the questions give enough clues? I'm just really bad at deciphering what I'm looking at.

thx bigfrank..i bookmarked this site..and will refer to it in 1 year when i start studying 🙂 but i think im gonna go with the new edition of rapid review instead of BRS path..and just annotate in that. thx again for the advice

Both books are very good (I hear). Just pick one and use it.

I've been using and annotating BRS path along w/ class and goljan audio for the past 2 semesters and thought I had no reason to deviate from this plan for the boards......until I saw the new RR in the bookstore....

It is simply awesome and I will be transferring all of my annotations from BRS into it.....for only $35 I think you are doing yourself a disservice by not getting it.
