This is my second time applying. I am reasonably qualified (34,3.8, top ugrad, good ecs), and was obviously upset and somewhat surprised about not getting in. I am wondering if my failure during this past app cycle is fair game to discuss as one of my biggest challenges.
If I do pursue this topic, I would avoid sounding entitled and steer clear of statements such as "I deserved to get in" or "I was so surprised I didn't get in." Rather, I would focus on the hard work I put forth and my overwhelming desire to be a physician, and having my dreams taken away from me was difficult.
Whatchyall think?
