Hello guys!!

I was wondering how well is for a bilingual ( English and Spanish ) in getting accepted in dental school? Is that one step forward from others applicants? How attractive is for the recruiters? Any opinion would be great!! Thanks.

I personally believe it'll make you stand out more then other applicants

I don't think it matters all that much. No single thing matters, it's a collection of things.

Thats true!! I know its more than 1 thing on the app! but i think it will help a little because of the fact that we live in a country that have a lot of foreigners

These questions are hilarious... Makes me wonder how good of an applicant one can be if they have multiple citizenships.

Its a very useful skill. Definitely helps with patient communication. I wouldn't say it puts an advantage over other applicants.

It won't hurt, but I don't think it will be that much of a big deal unless it's something out of the ordinary. Mine only got brought up at interviews bc my interviewer spoke some of the languages. Parts of my interviews were done in the different languages that I said I spoke. One asked me why I was trying to learn mandarin...It seemed odd to him from my background and he wanted to know the reason.
