This question is confusing to me. This makes me think that I'm missing conceptual information. Absorption means that a pigment is influenced by that wavelength. The wavelengths that are not influenced by that molecule essentially bounce back making a viewer see the complement color. The AAMC says the answer is a data/stats question that can be answered using the graph. Thank you in advance.

I used process of elimination for that one. Option A was the only choice where only red colors were affected. If red pigment was absent, red colors would not be perceived as red.
