Assuming no linkage, how many different kinds of gametes can be produced by an organism with the genotype AaBbcc?

Is there a formula for this kind of questions?

Formula is 2^n where n=number of heterozygous gene

Here n=2 so the answer would be 2^2=4

well... you have to understand how the gametes are formed to begin with...

You have two heterozygote alleles and one homozygote allele.
So there are two possibilities for the first two alleles but only one for the last allele. Therefore, by doing simple math, 2 x 2 x 1 gives you 4 possible gametes.. Hope this helps..
