Where does cleavage of the egg begin in humans?

The answer is oviduct/fallopian tube. I thought cleavage began when the fertilized egg gets implanted on the wall of the uterus. Help plz!

Nope, you're at the blastula phase when it attaches to the endometrium of the uterus. Cleavage starts right after fertilization occurs in the oviduct: Blastomere -> Morula -> Blastula -> Gastrula

He is correct. cleavage begins as soon as fertilization takes place and it will be in blastula phase by the time implantation takes place
