What do you guys think which is is better for dental school?
My first major was engineering and am on a track to get a second degree in bio in undergraduate.
I happened to think what if I could get a master degree in bio in graduate?
Is it possible to get it in a year? 30 credits in graduate are required to get a master degree in CUNY.

A masters degree is always going to be better because if you are successful in that, it proves you can handle upper level courswork and be successful at the graduate level, they already have a good idea of what you can do as an undergraduate. As far as the bio masters in 1 year, Im sure there are some non-thesis bio degrees available but every university is different with what they offer. check it out.

What's your cGPA? If it's low, completion of a MS would be beneficial. If your GPA is OK, there's no need to complete another degree.

My gpa is quite good. The first one is 3.8 and the gpa from post-bac period is about 3.7. Why I am asking is that I will take upper bio level classes anyway before next september, hopefully, so I'd like to take only bio classes...I'm on a track to get a second degree in bio, but it needs me to take three general elective classes...history,,kind of things..

Unless you really want the degree for personal reasons, it'll serve no extra benefit. You'd be better investing your time with ECs such as research, volunteering, leadership activities and shadowing. Of course, this all depends where you stand with hours/activities.

The reason would be that I have BS at a foreign 4-year college? I tried to get one in the US due to the reason but I am thinking it's just no point to keep this track on getting same BS degree. What do you think?

Engineering degrees are much more harder than bio degrees (in general). If your GPA is good, do not waste ur money! Instead u may improve ECA, DAT scores and interview skill!
