Biochem and First Aid

So I read through the Biochem section in First Aid for the first time. All I have to say is, WOW. I never realized I forgot so much. On top of that, it really doesnt hold my interest at all. Is there a better way to learn this stuff? I dont want to break out Lippincott, but I guess just get the essentials, and First Aid isnt working for me. It just seems like so much of this stuff is non relevant.

Kaplan lecture notes for Biochem were excellent
