Other than amino acids and RNA/DNA, what biochemical structures did you commit to memory? I was wondering specifically if common sugar and lipid structures need to be memorized.

AAMC practice exam asked about the structure of a specific lipid. So I think it's important. I would at least know the general structures or phospholipids, triglycerides, etc.

Yeah, there were a few questions on my exams that indirectly asked about a few biomolecular structures. :/

Chemical structures of all metabolic intermediates as well as their corresponding enzymatic reactions need to be memorized.
