Seriously! How in the name of all that is good do you guys even begin to learning it? I'll probably have to go down the memorisation road, i.e. draw diagram after diagram ad infinitum!

Anyone have any tips/similar woes?

Stupid cholesterol I tell you. It gets confusing when it has to get activated to the same thing over and over and over again, lol. At first it's like, "hey, didn't I just read this.. oh."

yeah man, diagram after diagram, welcome to biochem... MMMM TASTY. my only advice is lots of diagramatic molecules and lots of arrows linking them up. bugger it! and, like the rest of science and med, go the mnemonics!!! cholesterol? three bedrooms and a bath.
