Do schools differentiate between the two?

If my school is offering Biological Chemistry- Will schools count this as my biochemistry pre req?

You’d have to call and ask each school if it doesn’t say on their website. I was going to take physiology at a community college but saved myself the hassle of having to call every school so I just took it at a university.

Schools counted it the same when I applied last year, but not sure if all schools consider it the same

Is biological chemistry taught in the chem department? If so, I think technically it's not the biochem dental schools want( more bio/medicine oriented)

Doesn’t matter, chemistry or biology related, they won’t have that information

In my school biological chemistry was CHMXXX not BIO. So its righ there in the transcript

It depends. The prospective school will need to see the syllabi for the courses as course names are not always helpful in figuring out what is taught in a course.
