Bioengineering LOR for science LOR?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I would try to get a letter of recommendation from a science professor just in case you need one. Schools let you send more than the minimum amount so you can send the engineering one with another science one. (Or wait until they notify or you check with them after you submit, etc)

At ACOM, they told me that my pharmacology LOR wouldn't count as a science letter...

Been wondering the same thing about a professor I had kinesiology and biomechanics from. I have a good relationship with my exercise physiology professor (crosslisted at a zoology course, so should count for basic) and my anatomy professor, but since I need 2 science professors, and I would prefer to use my anatomy professor to write a letter that is directed at my 500+ hours as an unpaid anatomy tutor working in the open anatomy labs, I would love to use my kinesiology professor as a second science, if it would be accepted. I know RVU will take the kinesiology as a science, but like you said places like PCOM seem to be strict.
