Isn't Gen Bio a prerequisite for Genetics at your school?
I'm in high school. Next year is my last year so I'm preparing to Major before the school year start again

What is your country of residence?
Consider calling or meeting with your academic advisor or guidance counselor. Generally a good grounding in Biology is advisable before taking on Genetics, but maybe at your school it's possible.
