Biology--> Klaplan Comprehensive Review vs. TPR detailed review stuff

I have been fortunate (depending on how you look at it), to get both of these materials from friends who've already taken the mcat. The Kaplan comprehensve stuff that's sold at amazon and the course material from TPR. I thought the stuff from kaplan was straight foward even too straight forward at times, whereas the TPR biology review is filled with too much. I was wondering if I anyone's had the same experience.
I feel more comfortable with the kaplan stuff, but I am afraid that may miss some critical details if I don't study from the TPR as well...I am going nutts...I don't know what to do.
Any succes stories or advice from both sides would be appreciated....
