Hey everyone. I took biology 2 years ago, I don't remember it. My problem with the biology was that I crammed , I got a good grade and then I forgot about it.

I don't like Biology, and I didn't study well during the semesters, it was always cramming before test day.

Now I know the recommendations for the biology is to get: Cliff for bio 3rd edition, and Feralis notes. I also downloaded the powerpoint for Biology (Campbell book). I even have another book that has 1000 questions and answers. I also have the Ap Barron biology and the blue book from Kaplan which is, to be honest too concise.

My problem is,
I don't know how to study biology.
I day dream when I hold the book!

Any methods that work will be much appreciated!

Oh let me tell you my method first: I read the page skim it, then read it again. That's it, then, of course, I daydream 🙁

I plan to study for 2 hours each day during this coming month.

I just watched Coursesaver biology videos and took notes. Then I made flashcards out of those notes. It's missing a lot of topics, though, so you gotta fill in the blanks with some other resource.

Noooo way I would be able to read a textbook, I'd fall asleep.

This is awesome! I like to study my other courses watching videos. Thank you I just checked your breakdown, it's 50 dollars for 30 days, just what I want for now!
How many hours every day for biology would be ideal?

My own schedule was very loose, but I'd say I spent around 3-5 hours a day studying at the time.

The link below is actually a list of other people's breakdowns. Here's my breakdown if you wanted to see it.

your scores are more than impressive
26 in RC! Wow, that is just amazing, I am planning to read Scientific American articles every day to improve my RC. What do you think about that?
26 in Pat is awesome.
I hope you got accepted where you wanted to.

Thanks man, I was lucky enough to get in at my 1st choice.

I think any sort of reading will benefit you for the RC section. But if you can handle the ideas presented in scientific articles (like Sci.Am.), you'll do great.

Yeah I read a lot! Finished about 55+ novels for 2016 🙂
but yeah mainly, sci-fi and fantasy, scientific about them 😀

You can watch Bozeman science for general concepts and good explainations. That with Feralis will complete all you need to know.

I second Bozeman science. I remember watching those my freshman year and thought they were very helpful for various bio topics.
