Hey guys, I've finished studying the Biology section, and I was going over it, and I was wondering if the people who have already taken the test saw a subtancial amount of questions asking for info regarding Krebs and Calvin cycles. I have been having some problems with them. If you think they are really worth studying for, would you be able to give me some tips on how to study them. I know Podil aced this, and I really don't know if there is something I'm missing thats making me not understand them...you know.

many thanks in advance🙂

know the numbers at the least... 36 ATP... and how you get them... glucose uses two turns of kreb cycle to be completely converted to the energy and CO2 components etc etc etc... i think the question i got on the DAT was ...whats the component of glycolysis after the first phosphorylation.... G6P for sure... if you know that you're all good...but dont underestimate anything...

If you want anymore questions from the DAT just let me know! 🙂

It is in your best interest to know and understand not just krebs cycle and calvin cycle but all of respiration and photosynthesis. IMO, it is a major part of the bio section...well, at least respiration. Let's say you get 4 questions involving some component of these subjects, that's 10% of the section, so it will behoove you to read up and memorize these things. I know you're having problems, but don't worry, everyone struggles initially. You'll just need to iterate through it a few more times until you understand it.

I have edited out my comments regarding the above post.
