in tbr (chapter 3 passage 12 question 79) it says
Which of the following statements are true of both lymph and plasma
I. both contain chylomicrons after a meal
II. Both contain lymphocytes
III. both contain erythrocytes
the answer is I and II only
What I'm confused about is how they define plasma... in EK (i'm using SN2 so i'm doing EK w/ BR passages) it says that plasma contains the matrix of the blood which includes water ions urea ammonia proteins and other organic and inorganic compounds. The buffy coat contains white blood cells and the red blood cells are a diff component.
So I thought when a question asks about plasma it is asking about everything else besides for the buffy coat and RBCs.. but the TBR question makes it seem that plasma contains white and red blood cells... which way is the proper way to define plasma?
Thank you!
