Hi guys,

Why is the blood pressure greater in the calves then the neck? This was a Physics question in the BR section.

It asked, is blood pressure greater in the calves or the neck and their answer was the calves. I didn't understand this at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Use pgh. As height h increases, fluid pressure increases.

Yes because it is further away from the heart, thus more pressure is required to pump blood there.
