FA says ANP contributes to "aldosterone escape" and BNP has similar physiologic action to ANP.

1. So does BNP also contribute to aldosterone escape?

2. Why is it called "Brain" natriuretic peptide, if as FA says this is released from ventricular myocytes?

Anp and bnp have same physiology and generally oppose ADH/AT-2/Alderstone since they cause vasodilation and Na/H2O diuresis. Also know that ANP can accumulate as amyloid in old people's hearts and ANP/BNP kinda correlate with CHF severity
