finally took step 1 a week ago and i'm going back to school in a week to start my rotations. just wondering if i should bring any of my board review books back for rotations or if i should just leave them all at home (i'm flying across country). my book list consists of brs path and physio, micro made ridiculously simple, and hy for everything else. are any of these books useful for rotations?

Step 1 review books are generally not helpful. I sold most of mine after I found out I passed and never regretted it. Definitely get rid of the HY books. On the wards, you will look stuff up in current literature, UpToDate or in specialty-specific texts and review books.

Get review books specific to your rotations (i.e. Peds PreTest, Blueprints Ob/Gyn, etc.), and first aid for the Wards. That will supply you with the stuff you need to know.
