Is there a place where I can find out the board test passage rates for dental schools?

The schools themselves have that information...but more importantly, why do you care?

When I was on the interview trail a lot of schools flaunted their boards rates as if they mattered...passing boards is not hard to do...some schools might make passing boards easier than others but with the P/F grading now straight numbers will tell you nothing.

Everyone I've met studied for boards the same way, Dental Decks, First Aid (type) books, and Old questions...none of which are provided by the school.

I would never consider board passing rate as a factor for choosing a school...its way more dependent on the individual.

if someone fails the exam after their 2nd year, do they have to redo their 2nd year or how does it work

I didn't pay attention to board passing rates at all when I was interviewing this season. A lot of schools talked about them and a lot of interviewees asked about them.
In my opinion, it really doesn't matter what other people from past classes have done. Just because a school claims to have a 99% or 100% pass rate doesn't mean you'll pass. You still have to work hard and study, just like all of those people did.

Well with an attitude like that, why bother even going to dental school.

Yes Im with with previous poster, dental board pass rate has nothing to do with weather or not you YOURSELF are going to pass/fail it.
