Boards results are in!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I passed also. Thank God. I am so relieved. Felt bad after the exam.
Thank God

Congratulations everyone! What great news!

Do any of you newly minted board certified psychiatrists have recommendations on how to study--what books to use, when to start studying, etc? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks and congrats again!

JEJ - I used the focus study book, Kaufman's Neurology for Psychiatrists, and psychiatryinreview.com (has 400+ study questions).

I also did a once-through of the MGH book which I felt was outdated and a waste of time.

Same here. Just from the website...waiting for the breakdown in the mail.
Went through the Kauffman course twice, The Neurology for Psych once. Did 6 years worth of Prite, Focus and Spiegel. All in 2 months.
Got about 85% right on above tests before exam.

Congratulations to everyone who passed. I mentioned this in another thread but I passed my oral boards several weeks ago despite passing my written exam years ago (because the damn thing makes you want several months to take the oral exam).
